@iBizAfrica is the business incubation and innovation centre in Strathmore University. The incubator is part of @iLabAfrica, the research and innovation centre under the faculty of Information Technology in Strathmore University. @iBizAfrica implements the entrepreneurship them of @iLabAfrica, where it aims to build on the capacity of youth to develop ICT and business solutions that work for the common good in society. Since inception and start of operations in 2012, the incubator has achieved much success in nurturing the development, growth and success of startup business ideas. The incubator struggles to differentiate itself in a highly competitive business incubation ecosystem in Kenya and develop self-sustainability while delivering the highest value-driven quality of business incubation and acceleration support. @iBizAfrica is seen by the University as a key driver of entrepreneurship and innovation in the University and society. Youth and innovators look to @iBizAfrica to provide the best enabling environment for succeeding in starting and running thriving enterprises driven by innovation. @iBizAfrica is also seen as a strategic partner by academia, industry, government and other organization in implementing projects and research that promote innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth in Kenya.
